The 2010-2011 season of the EAMA Lectures will feature four analysis lectures and three concert-lectures focusing on the living link between the music of our time and the rich tradition that proceeds it. Building on the legacy of Nadia Boulanger's Wednesday Analysis class, the EAMA Lectures are held in a intimate setting and are geared toward both the serious student of music who wishes to improve his/her craft and the music lover who seeks a greater understanding and appreciation of what they enjoy in the finest works of both yesterday and today. Lectures will be given by Dr. Philip Lasser of The Juilliard School, Dr. Benjamin C.S. Boyle of Westminster Choir College and Lane Harder of The University of Texas. A light reception follows each event.
